Abia State of Nigeria 2023 Local Government Councils Appropriation Bill 2023 undergoes First Reading

HAB 4, The Abia State of Nigeria 2023 Local Government Councils Appropriation Bill, a Bill for a Bye Law to Appropriate the sum of Forty Two Billion, Eight Hundred and Forty Two Million, Two Hundred and Eighty Seven Thousand, One Hundred and Forty Naira only for the services of the Seventeen Local Government Councils of Abia State of Nigeria for the Year ending 31st Day of December, 2023 and for other related purposes has undergone it’s First Reading.

This followed a Motion moved by the Majority Leader, Hon Uchenna Okoro Kalu and seconded by Hon Boniface Isienyi of Ikwuano State Constituency.

Bill moved to the Appropriation Committee for further ‘Legislative surgery’.
