NYSC Abia passes out 852 corps members, urges them to uphold unity,
The Abia Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Mr Yunusa Tanimu, has urged the outgoing 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members to uphold the values acquired during their service year and serve as ambassadors of national unity.
He spoke ar the passing-out ceremony held across NYSC zonal offices on Thursday in the state.
Tanimu advised the corps members to continue inspiring and mentoring younger Nigerians as they prepare to take on leadership roles.
“As you leave, uphold those virtues NYSC has imbibed in you. We expect you to remain vanguards of unity, to continue to inspire other young people and to mentor our younger ones.
” Very soon, some of us will vacate the scene and you will take over the leadership. Nigeria has high hopes in you,” he said.

He encouraged the former corps members to give their best in any field they find themselves, noting that the world outside is highly competitive.
“Be the best at what you do. Out there is a competitive world market. Take advantage of the various entrepreneurship programmes NYSC has given you.
“Do not worry about starting small. What matters is your ability to harness resources and grow big,” Tanimu stated.
The coordinator also charged them to pursue their dreams with passion and determination, expressing confidence in their capacity to succeed.
“Pursue your dream with passion. Believe in your dream and move into the competitive sphere. Push your way through, and very soon you will be there,” he added.
A total of 852 corps members, comprising 410 males and 442 females were issued Certificates of National Service at the event.
